Getting started with Blog

Parallax Blog lets anyone with a Parallax account open their own blog and publish posts. You can use it at blog.parallax.kr. The home page brings together recommended posts by topic and the latest posts.

Do I need a separate account?

No. Your Parallax account is all you need. Click Sign in at the top right and sign in with your email and password, or with your Google or Apple account. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one from Sign up on the sign in screen.

If you are already signed in to another Parallax service such as parallax.kr, you stay signed in on the same browser. For more on signing up and signing in, see Signing up and signing in.

How do I create a blog?

1. After signing in, click Create blog on the home page or in the menu at the top right.
2. Enter your blog address, blog name and description. A cover image is optional.
3. Click Create blog and you are taken straight to your new blog.

You can create one blog per account. The blog name can be up to 80 characters and the description up to 500 characters.

How do I choose a blog address?

Your blog address is used in the form blog.parallax.kr/youraddress.

• Use 3 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers, underscores (_) and hyphens (-).
• The first and last characters must be a letter or a number.
• An address someone else is already using is not available.
• Some addresses, such as admin, settings, write and official, are reserved because the site uses them or because they could be used to impersonate others.

Can I change my blog address later?

Yes. You can change it at any time from Blog settings in the menu at the top right. Before you do, please note the following.

• Post links you shared before are automatically forwarded to the new address.
• Your old blog home address (blog.parallax.kr/oldaddress) no longer opens.
• Your previous address becomes available for someone else to take.

Once you have shared your links widely, it is safer to avoid changing the address.

Does it cost anything?

Creating a blog and writing and publishing posts are free. Only Create an image with AI on the writing screen uses Parallax credits, and the number of credits needed is shown on the button. For more on credits, see Understanding plans and credits.

Open a support request, choose Blog as the service, and include the email of the account you signed in with, your blog address, the screen where the problem happened and any error message you see. Attaching a screenshot helps us look into it faster.
