Deleting your account and what happens to your data

You can delete your account yourself from the profile screen. Deletion cannot be undone, so download anything you need first.

How to delete

1. Sign in to Parallax and go to the profile screen.
2. Choose Delete account and read the notice.
3. Confirm, and your account and the data attached to it are deleted.

Cancel a paid subscription first

Account deletion is blocked while a paid plan is still billing. Cancel the subscription before you delete. If the subscription is already scheduled to end at the close of the billing period, you can go ahead and delete.

What deletion means

• You lose access to everything tied to the account: chat history, generated images and video, uploaded files, characters and so on.
• Remaining credits and the unused part of a subscription are not refunded.
• Personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, apart from items we are legally required to keep.
• You can sign up again with the same email, but the previous account's data does not come back.

If you only want a clean-up

You do not have to delete the account just to clear out chats or generated files. You can delete items one by one inside each service, and you can cancel only the paid plan and keep using the Free plan.

If deletion does not go through or you see an error, tell us in a support request.
