Starting a conversation

1. Pick a character you like from browse.
2. Read the character introduction and opening setup, then start talking.
3. Conversations are saved automatically, and you can pick any of them back up from the history in the sidebar.

Some characters are one to one, and some works are multi character, with several figures appearing together.

Affinity

As a conversation goes on, the character's affinity changes. Some characters are set up so that their tone and reactions shift with it. Affinity builds per conversation, and starting a new one starts it over.

How many credits it uses

Each exchange uses Parallax credits. How much depends on the model the character uses and the length of the conversation. Check your remaining credits and plan under Plans and credits.

When a conversation feels off

• Short inputs get short answers. Adding a little more about the situation or feeling makes the reactions richer.
• If the context has become tangled, starting a new conversation is quicker.
• If one character consistently answers against its own setup, the character settings themselves may be the cause. Let the creator know, or tell us in a support request.

Reporting

If you come across a character or conversation that breaks the terms of service or the content policy, please report it. Send us the character address and the part that is a problem in a support request and we will review and act on it.
