How do I share with someone?

Click Share at the top of the editor and choose Who can view.

  • Only me: the default. Nobody else can open the presentation.
  • Anyone with the link: anyone with the link can view and present it without signing in. Only you can edit.

When it is public, a Copy link button appears. The share link looks like slides.parallax.kr/s/... and is different from the editor address. If you switch back to Only me, the link stops opening right away.

What do people see through the link?

  • The presentation title, the author's name and the number of slides
  • Every slide, plus a Present button to step through it in presentation mode

What they do not see: the topic and goal you entered when creating the deck, the sources you pasted, the outline, and your speaker notes. Speaker notes stay visible only to you even after you share, and presentation mode through the link has no notes button. Viewers cannot export or edit.

Public pages are marked so that search engines do not index them, but anyone who has the link can still view the slides. Before you share, make sure the slides themselves contain nothing you would not want others to see.

I opened a link and it says the page cannot be found

A share link does not open when:

  • the author switched it back to Only me
  • the presentation was deleted
  • it is still generating, or generation failed
  • it was made with the previous version of Slides

Can I download it as a PowerPoint file?

Yes. Under Export at the top of the editor, click PowerPoint (.pptx) and the file is built in your browser and downloaded. You can open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides and keep editing.

The PPTX may differ from the screen in these ways.

  • Text: all text goes in as editable text boxes, but fonts are swapped for standard ones such as Georgia and Arial, so it looks a little different.
  • Decoration: the style's decorative artwork is simplified to a single representative shape.
  • Images: images on Image + text slides are fetched from their links and embedded. If the site hosting an image blocks this, the style's artwork is used instead. In that case, insert the image yourself in PowerPoint.
  • Speaker notes: included as the slide notes in the PPTX.

How do I save a PDF?

Under Export, click PDF (print) to open your browser's print dialog. Choose Save as PDF as the destination and save. Each slide goes on its own 16:9 page, with background colors included. Speaker notes are not included in the PDF.

It says the export failed

Please try again in a moment. If it keeps failing, reload the page and export again, or try another browser.

How do I delete a presentation?

On the My presentations screen, open the card's menu (…), click Delete and confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, and the public link stops working too. If you might need the presentation later, download it as PPTX or PDF before deleting.

To remove just one slide, delete it from the list on the left of the editor. In that case you can restore it right away with Undo in the notification.

If you need help

Open a support request, choose Slides as the service, and include the editor address (in the form slides.parallax.kr/decks/...) or share link (in the form slides.parallax.kr/s/...), the export format (PPTX or PDF), the browser you use and any error message shown on screen.
