Understanding plans and credits
What a credit is, how many each plan includes, and what they are spent on.

Usage across Parallax AI is measured in credits. Chat, image generation, video generation and workflow runs all draw from the same balance.
What a credit is
One credit equals 1,000 tokens. A plan listed as "2K credits per month" gives you two million tokens for the month.
How much a single job costs depends on what you are doing.
- A short chat turn costs a few credits.
- Heavier work such as one image or a few seconds of video costs considerably more.
- The same job costs more on a higher performance model.

Pro and above also open up advanced models, a priority queue, larger upload limits and Iris automation. Each plan's full feature list is on the plan screen of the service.
When they reset
Monthly credits are topped back up each month in line with your billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not carry over.
Credit packs you buy separately behave differently. They build up as a bonus balance and never expire. See Credit packs and extra storage for details.
When you run out
Once the monthly limit is gone, generation requests are blocked. You have three options.
- Wait until your next billing date.
- Buy a credit pack to top up immediately.
- Move up to a higher plan.
You can see your remaining balance on the plan or usage screen of each service.
