Getting started with Parallax Storage

How to sign in to storage.parallax.kr, how much space each plan includes, and how the screens are laid out.

Parallax Storage is online storage that keeps your files encrypted in one place. You can use it at storage.parallax.kr, and from any device you can upload files, preview them, share them and roll them back to earlier versions.

How do I sign in?

Use your Parallax account. There is no separate sign-up.

If you are already signed in on parallax.kr, opening storage.parallax.kr takes you straight to your files.
On the sign-in screen you can sign in with email, Google or Apple.
If you do not have an account yet, choose Sign up on Parallax on the sign-in screen to sign up on parallax.kr. Once you finish, you are brought back to Storage.
If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password? to reset it on parallax.kr.

Where did the storage screen on parallax.kr go?

The storage screen that used to live inside parallax.kr has moved to storage.parallax.kr. If you go to parallax.kr/storage you are sent to storage.parallax.kr automatically. Files you uploaded before are all still there.

How much can I store for free?

Each plan comes with a set amount of storage.

If you subscribe to extra storage, it is added on top of your plan's allowance. A single file can be up to 10GB on any plan. For ways to get more space, see Storage space, deleting and troubleshooting.

Does it use credits?

No. Uploading, downloading and sharing files do not use credits. Your storage is set only by your plan's included space and any extra storage subscription.

How are the screens laid out?

The left menu has four screens.

My Storage: all your files and folders.
Recent: files you recently uploaded or changed.
Shared links: the share links you created, with their expiry and download count. You can copy or remove them here.
Trash: the trash screen. Right now, deleting a file skips the trash and removes it permanently straight away, so please take care.

Your current plan and a usage bar are shown at the bottom left. The search box at the top searches file and folder names across all of your storage.

How do I change the language or switch to dark mode?

Open the account menu at the top right and choose Language or Theme. Thirteen languages are supported, including English and Korean, and the theme can be System, Light or Dark.

If you need help

Open a support request, choose Storage as the service, and tell us how you sign in (email, Google or Apple), which screen the problem is on and any error message you see. Never share your password with anyone, including us.
