Getting started with Iris images and video

Iris is a workspace for creating and refining images and video. Sign in at iris.parallax.kr with your Parallax account.

Creating an image

1. Open the image screen.
2. Describe the scene you want in a sentence.
3. Pick a model and an aspect ratio, then generate.

If the result is not going the way you want, change the prompt a little at a time and generate again. The same prompt gives a different result every time.

What helps when writing a prompt

• Describe the subject, background, mood, lighting and camera angle separately.
• Say what you want left out as well.
• Once you get an image you like, varying that image is steadier than starting over from scratch.

Refining an image

From the editor you can go on to crop, adjust, filter, remove the background, upscale and retouch parts of a generated image. The original is kept, so experiment freely.

Creating video

On the video screen you can work from text alone, or put in an image as the first frame and give it motion. Video takes longer than images and costs considerably more credits. You can close the window while it runs and find the result in your library when it is done.

Keeping your results

Images and video you create are saved to your library. You can reopen them any time to download or keep editing. They use the same storage allowance as your plan.

When generation fails

• Check that you have credits left. Video is especially demanding.
• Requests we cannot fulfil on policy grounds may be refused, such as sensitive depictions of real people, sexual content or violent content.
• If the same request keeps failing, try another model, and if it still fails, tell us the time of the request and the prompt in a support request.
