Where can I see how much space I have left?

Check the usage bar at the bottom of the left menu. It shows how much of your total space you have used, along with your plan's included space and any extra storage you subscribe to.

How do I get more space?

Press Get more storage under the usage bar to go to the plan screen on parallax.kr. There are two options.

  • Subscribe to extra storage monthly. It is added on top of your plan's allowance.
  • Move to a higher plan. The included space for each plan is listed in Getting started with Parallax Storage.

For subscribing to and cancelling extra storage, see Credit packs and extra storage.

What happens to my files if I downgrade or cancel extra storage?

Files you have already stored stay where they are. However, while your usage is over the new limit you cannot upload new files. Delete files you no longer need to get back under the limit, or add more space again.

Can I get a deleted file back?

No. Right now, deleting a file or folder skips the trash and removes it permanently straight away, and this cannot be undone. Deleting a folder also deletes everything inside it. Please check carefully before pressing Delete forever in the confirmation window.

The space a deleted file used is freed right away. Earlier versions of a file you overwrote can still be restored from version history, as described in Uploading, managing and sharing files.

If you delete your account, your data is handled as described in Deleting your account and what happens to your data.

It says "Not enough storage on your plan"

This appears when you try to upload a file larger than your remaining space. Delete files you no longer need, or use Get more storage in the upload panel to add space, then upload again.

It says "Larger than the 10GB per-file limit"

A single file can be at most 10GB on any plan. Split it into parts with a compression tool or make it smaller, then upload it.

My upload fails partway through

  • Check your network and try again. Large files carry on after a brief drop, but a long disconnection can make the upload fail.
  • Closing or refreshing the tab before the upload finishes stops the upload.
  • Check your remaining space and the file size.

Someone says my share link does not open

It is most likely one of these.

  • The link has passed its expiry.
  • The download limit you set has been reached.
  • The link or the original file has been deleted.
  • The original file was renamed or moved to another folder after the link was created. A share link points to where the file was when you created it, so you need to create a new link.

Check the link's status on the Shared links screen, and if needed create a new link with Share in the file's menu and send it again.

I signed in, but I keep landing on the sign-in screen

Your sign-in has expired. Please sign in again. If it keeps happening, check that your browser is not blocking cookies, then sign out on parallax.kr and sign in again.

If you need help

Open a support request, choose Storage as the service, and include your plan, the usage shown on your usage bar, the name and size of the file involved, and any error message you see along with when it happened. Please understand that we cannot recover deleted files either.
