Automating work with workflows

Connecting nodes to automate repetitive work, the trigger types, and what each plan allows.

A workflow wires up "when this happens, do that" as a set of nodes. Generation and clean-up you used to do by hand can run on their own.

The basic shape

Every workflow starts with one trigger node. The trigger wakes the workflow, and the nodes connected after it run in order.

  • Manual: runs on the spot when you press the button. Useful while you are building.
  • Schedule: runs automatically at set times.
  • Form: creates a public input form and runs when someone submits it.
  • Webhooks and events: runs when an outside service calls in.

Nodes cover AI generation, HTTP requests, data shaping, conditional branching, file handling and more. Find the node you need and connect it up.

Building your first one

  1. Choose create new on the workflows screen.
  2. If a template looks close to what you need, start from it. That is faster than a blank canvas.
  3. Pick a trigger and connect nodes one at a time.
  4. Check the result with a manual run, then switch the trigger to a schedule or a form to automate it.

Running a node shows its input and output as they are, so you can find the point where an unexpected value comes in and fix it there.

Common problems

My schedule does not run Check that the workflow is active and that the time zone in the trigger settings is the one you meant. Running out of credits also stops execution.

It stops at a node in the middle Look at the error message for the failed node in the run history. If the node calls an outside service, check whether its credentials or address have changed.
