Getting started with Forms

Parallax Forms is a form builder for creating surveys, sign-up forms and quizzes and collecting responses through a single link. You can use it at forms.parallax.kr.

Do I need a separate account?

No. Sign in with your Parallax account. Email, Google and Apple sign-in are all supported, and if you are already signed in on parallax.kr you stay signed in on Forms too. If you do not have an account yet, see Signing up and signing in.

People who respond to a form do not need an account. Sign-in is only required on forms where the owner turned on "Only signed-in people can respond".

Does it cost anything?

Creating forms and collecting responses in Forms currently does not use any credits.

Creating your first form

1. After signing in, pick a template under Start a new form on the My forms page. You can start from Blank form, Contact information, Event registration, Customer satisfaction survey or Trivia quiz.
2. In the editor's Questions tab, write a title and description and add questions.
3. Use the preview icon at the top right to see what respondents will see. Anything you submit in preview is not saved.
4. Click Publish to make the form public.

Your edits are saved automatically. When "All changes saved" appears at the top, saving is done. If you see "Save failed", check your input and try again.

Which question types are available?

There are 13 types.

• Short answer, Paragraph, Email, Number
• Multiple choice, Checkboxes, Dropdown
• Linear scale, Rating
• Multiple-choice grid, Tick box grid
• Date, Time

Multiple choice and Checkboxes can have an "Other" option, and option order can be shuffled for each respondent. Each question can be marked Required.

Is there a file upload question?

Not yet. If you need to collect files, we suggest asking respondents for a share link in a Short answer question.

Can I edit a form together with other people?

Adding collaborators is not available yet. Only the account that created a form can edit it and view its responses.

Publishing and sharing

Publishing creates a response link (forms.parallax.kr/f/...) that anyone can open. A form with no questions cannot be published.

• After publishing, click Send at the top right. Copy the response link from the Link tab, or the HTML embed code from the Embed on a website tab.
• Paste the embed code into your website's HTML and the form appears right inside the page.
• You can keep editing questions after publishing, and changes show up for respondents immediately.

Language and dark mode

From the Language and theme menu at the top right (at the very bottom on the response page) you can choose from 13 languages and a light, dark or system theme. Only interface text such as buttons and notices changes. The form title and questions the owner wrote are shown as written and are not translated.

If you need help

Open a support request, choose Forms as the service, and include the email of the account you signed in with, the form title, the screen where the problem happened and any error message you see. Attaching a screenshot helps us look into it faster.
