Getting started with Launch and submitting a product
Signing in with your Parallax account, your maker handle, filling in the submit form and drafting it with AI.

Launch is a launch listing service that showcases products from makers, day by day. You can use it at launch.parallax.kr, and the interface is available in English only.
Do I need a separate account?
No. You sign in with your Parallax account, using email and password, Google or Apple. If you are already signed in on parallax.kr, you stay signed in on Launch too. If you do not have an account yet, create one from Sign up at the top right.
You can browse launches, open launch pages and search without signing in. Submitting, upvoting and commenting require you to be signed in.
I am asked to pick a handle before submitting
Your maker handle (@name) is shown next to your launches and comments. If your account has no handle yet, pick one on the Pick your maker handle screen before the submit form opens.
- Use 3 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores (_).
- Handles that are already taken or reserved cannot be used.
- A handle can only be changed once every 7 days, so choose carefully.
How do I submit a product?
- Click the Submit button at the top.
- Enter the product link (Link to the product), name, tagline, description, first comment and so on.
- Under Launch date, pick the launch day and the slot type (free or paid).
- Click Schedule launch and you are done. If you pick a paid slot, the button changes to Schedule and pay $30 and takes you to checkout.
While you work, you can click Save draft and come back later. Saving a draft needs at least the product link and the launch name. Your drafts are under My launches, in the menu that opens from your profile icon at the top right.
Submitted launches go live automatically on the day you picked, without a manual review. The date and slot rules are covered in Launch dates and free or paid slots.
Are there limits for each field?
| Field | Limit |
|---|---|
| Name of the launch | 40 characters |
| Tagline | 60 characters |
| Description | 500 characters, Markdown supported |
| Write the first comment | 5,000 characters, Markdown supported |
| Launch tags | 10 tags (30 characters each) |
| Gallery | 5 images, 10 MB each (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF) |
| Who worked on this launch? | 10 people |
| X account | 1 to 15 letters, numbers or underscores (with or without the @) |
- The first gallery image becomes the thumbnail shown in lists. You can reorder the images.
- Video / Loom accepts YouTube, Vimeo and Loom links only.
- An http or https address in Interactive demo is shown as an external link button on the launch page.
- The Promo code is visible to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in.
- Your first comment is posted automatically as the pinned comment when the launch goes live.
It says the product is already listed
Product links are compared after tidying them up (dropping www, a trailing slash, utm parameters and similar), and each link can be listed by only one person.
- Another maker listed it first: ask them to add you under Who worked on this launch?.
- You listed it before: tick Launching again? and pick the earlier launch to link it. You can also use the Launch again button on a published launch in My launches. Because it is the same product as a launch that is already live, the name and link are shared with the earlier launch and cannot be changed on the new one.
How do I show the people who built it with me?
Search by handle under Who worked on this launch? and add them. Only users who have picked a handle show up, and they appear on the launch right away, with no acceptance step.
If you are sharing a product you did not build, choose I didn't, I'm sharing it under Did you work on this launch?. The launch page will show it as shared by a community member.
Can AI fill in the form?
Yes. After entering the product link, click Fill with AI. It reads that page and drafts the name, tagline, description, tags, first comment and X account (if it finds one). If you have already filled some of these in, you are asked to confirm before they are replaced. Your gallery, makers, promo and launch date stay as they are.
In the gallery, Generate with AI creates one image at a time from a prompt. You can choose square (1:1) or landscape (3:2), and each image can take up to about 30 seconds. Generated images count toward the 5 image gallery limit.
- AI features use the credits on your Parallax account. The estimated credits are shown on the button, and your remaining credits are shown in the top bar.
- If a generation fails, no credits are charged.
- Not enough credits means your balance is too low. See Plans and credits.
- Could not read that page means we could not open the link. Make sure it is a public page anyone can reach.
If you need help
Open a support request, choose Launch as the service, and include the email of the account you signed in with, the product link and the exact error message you saw.
